Re: CVK Series Controlling with PC

Hi essenceindia, In regards to your post, the CVK525BK package consists of a motor (with a double shaft) and a driver. This driver is a pulse input type driver , therefore, you will need to provide this package with pulse and direction signals from an external controller. You can reference the I/O s...

Re: AZ Series Interface Control Documentation (ICD)

Hi Saad, In regards to your post, using the 24 VDC power supplies would be our recommendation for the SCX11 controller and AZD-K driver. With that being said, each product will draw the current that it needs. Therefore, your power supply will need to have a minimum of the combined current values. Fo...

Re: BLE motor/driver control through Modbus

Hi benjaminrigsby, In regards to your latest post, the value that you write to the 007Dh (125 decimal) register will be dependent on the binary code that is created from turning on the specific bits. For instance: If you want to run Speed No. 0 in the forward direction. Then you would turn on bit 3....

Re: BLE motor/driver control through Modbus

Hi benjaminrigsby, In regards to your post, the Speed Registers will have upper and lower values ( 1152 for Speed No. 0 Upper and 1153 for Speed No. 0 Lower). You can store up to 16 different speeds into the series of registers (Speed No. 0 ~ Speed No. 15). However, in order to have the motor move, ...

Re: Reset current position

Hi UE07, In regards to your post, the most common method to avoid getting the error is to create a wrap. Another alternative would be to turn on the P-Preset input which will change the current position to the value set for the position preset value (factory setting is 0). You also mentioned that th...

AZ Series: Checking the Current Position of an AZ Driver via ASG and BSG outputs

Q: I am using your AZD-A driver with the SCX11 controller. I want to be able to read the current position of the AZ series motor as the system may be turned off at the end of the night and turned on to start the next day. I was told that the AZD-AD driver has a Modbus register that can be read, howe...

Re: Using CVK series driver and motor with third party controller

Hi JeraldGor,

In regards to your post, the SCX10 is a discontinued product that has been updated to the SCX11 controller. When looking at a controller for your application, I would recommend going with the SCX11:

Re: Microstepping, Accuracy, and Torque

Hi timoluca, In regards to your correction, the original response included the statement: " Microstepping with our step motor drivers will not decrease your motor's torque output. " The key point is that our driver is smart enough to adjust the current to keep the torque constant. In a gen...

Re: Microstepping, Accuracy, and Torque

Hi timoluca,

In regards to your post, our driver will monitor the current on the windings. Based on the monitored current, the driver will then make an adjustment in order to optimize the torque. This function is the current correction (or compensation).
