AR series push motion/current setting driver update*

Q: I have an ARD-A stepper motor driver which I am trying to set up Push Motion operation to 60% using the MEXE02 v3.12 data edit software. However, every time I perform a data-write operation to the driver, the following errors are generated.

After pressing OK I received the following error.

What can I do to resolve this error?

A: Since January 6, 2014, there has been an update to the AR series drivers. There are differences in data setting range, etc. between the product after the change and before the change. For the driver before the specification change, contact your nearest Oriental Motor sales office. These changes include the following:
1. Some setting items have been changed
• Push current specifications changed from 0 to 500 (1=0.1%) to 0 to 1000 (1=0.1%)
• NET-IN input function
i. 24: ALM-RST
ii. 25: P-PRESET
iii. 26: P-CLR
NOTE: When the data is set using the MEXE02, use the MEXE02 software version is 3.00 or later

2. The upper limit of the alarm output has been changed
• Maximum speed for push-motion operation changed from 30rpm to 500rpm
