What is the terminal box?

What is the difference between motors with terminal box and motors without terminal box? Terminal box, is a mounting place for capacitor (single phase motors).

Hi,

We offer standard lead wire type motors, terminal box type motors, and conduit box type AC motors. For the lead wire type motors, you would connect the lead wires provided on the motor to the power source. For terminal box or conduit box type motors, you would connect your power source to the terminals provided inside the terminal or conduit box. The conduit box houses the capacitor for single-phase motors; not the terminal box.
