EZS II with EZED2: starting speed vs operating speed

Postby om_tech_support_JT » Thu Nov 07, 2013 12:28 pm

Q. I have an EZS II series linear actuator and controller and am programming it with the EZED2 software, I am trying to set the operating speed to 0.7mm/s from 10mm/s but the actuator does not seem to go any slower, is there another way to change the speed?

A. One thing to keep in mind when setting the speeds is that the starting speed must be lower or equal to the operating speed. If the operating speed is lower than the starting speed, the actuator will move at the starting speed. The default starting speed is 6mm/s so you will have to lower the starting speed in order to operate at 0.7mm/s.
