Type of Grease Used in Gearheads

Postby om_tech_support_JT » Mon Jan 17, 2011 7:17 pm

Q: What type of grease do you use in your gearheads?

A: Molybdenum disulfide grease. If you need a MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), we can provide it via e-mail. However, this is subject to change without notice.

UPDATE: we have changed to a refined mineral based oil with lithium soap thickener and additives. This information is current with our AC motor gearheads as well as brushless motor gearheads.
