Hi diepnhan,

Our KXPM6180GD-AB servo motor includes a pig-tail cable and connector which connects directly to its dedicated driver, KXPD180-ABZ. It's not designed to work with any other drivers. Please also verify your part numbers.

The KXPM motor's pig-tail cable includes both the motor and encoder signals that need to connect to the CN1 connector on the KXPD driver. The CN2 connector is for the driver I/O (for example, pulse and direction signals). You cannot connect the encoder to CN2 of the driver.

Please refer to page 4 of the KXP manual for instructions on how to connect the motor cable. The CN2 connector pin-out diagram is on page 5.

What is the exact part number of your driver? We don't seem to make a KXD driver.

Unfortunately, we do not carry the documentation for the KX series servo motors and controllers anymore. It has been discontinued for too long. However, I can offer a few replacement systems which offer similar performance specifications and functions. Please see below.

CLOSEST REPLACEMENT WHICH CAN BE CONTROLLED BY INPUTTING PULSES OR I/O
SERVO MOTOR OPTIONS:
[ NX620AA-3 ]
http://catalog.orientalmotor.com/item/a ... /nx620aa-3

ALTERNATIVE REPLACEMENT - POSITION/SPEED CONTROL METHOD IS DIFFERENT, BUT MORE COST-EFFECTIVE
BRUSHLESS MOTOR OPTION:
[ BX6200A-A ]
http://catalog.orientalmotor.com/item/b ... /bx6200a-a
-an optional OPX-2A control module is offered for setting of speed and/or position data, torque-limiting and display functions.

If you cannot incoporate changes to your existing controls, then I would suggest the NX series motor option. You cannot use the same control method for the BX series motor option.

The NX620AA-3 is quite expensive. Hope it's worth it.
